Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries is a great opportunity to get quality groceries at a discounted price. For more information about the program, please check out our Angel Food page.

• We need volunteers from local churches and businesses to get the brochures and menu options out to their employees, congregations, neighborhoods, trailer parks and apartment buildings. Raising awareness about Angel Food is one way we can truly help our neighbors buy smart and conserve their food dollars no matter what their income.

Food Pantry

• Help recruit volunteers and resources for the food bank.
• Collect non-perishable food items, toiletries, and laundry/cleaning supplies.
• Clip coupons to share for diapers, laundry detergents, cleaning products, and basic grocery needs.
• Transportation - Deliver food to those who have no transportation. Provide rides to doctor appointments. Provide a ride to work for those who have a job, but no way to get there.

• We are looking for volunteers who would like to teach others basic computer skills, such as getting on-line, pointing and clicking, using search engines, setting up an e-mail account, sending e-mail, etc. This is a periodic request we hear from the guests utilizing the library computers. This would help them communicate with family and friends, access supplies for their business, and connect to social service resources. Call and let us know times you are available and we will connect you to those who have asked for help.
• Collect used family friendly DVD’s and videos for the Library.
• Complete oil changes or detail cars for those in need.
• Offer your professional skills to someone who cannot afford them – painting, massages, haircuts, carpentry repairs, tree trimming, car maintenance, etc.
• Job shadow a young person to give them attention and share experiences.
• Host an international student for high school, college, or summer.
• Help a child learn to read and complete their homework.
• Pray for the staff and partners of The Family Center.
