The tradition of partnering with the community to bring the resources individuals and families need under one roof holds true for the services offered here. The Family Center teams up with outside organizations, businesses and individuals to provide services in many categories, including financial, nutrition, business, and athletic services. The services available vary from time to time, but they all have one thing in common – they help the community.

Business Services
Prescription Discount Card
With over $57,000 saved on over 3,200 prescriptions in the first 3 months of the program the Lancaster County Prescription Drug Discount Card program continues to provide a beneficial savings to residents of Lancaster County. We are pleased to make these cards available to you at our office. The program, offered by the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners, provides a discount on prescription drugs not covered by another health plan at any of the 91 participating pharmacies in Lancaster County or 59,000 participating pharmacies Nationwide. The cards are FREE and there are no eligibility requirements, enrollment forms, or membership fees to use the Lancaster County Prescription Drug Discount Card program. Simply pick up a card and take it to a participating pharmacy to receive a discount. One card can be used for the whole family! This program is available through the Commissioners’ partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and is administered by Caremark.

Financial Services
Crown Financial Consultations
If you want someone to help you with an in-depth evaluation of your income, spending, debt, saving, and giving, you can meet with a Crown Financial Coach at no charge. Crown's trained Volunteer Coaches work with couples and individuals, helping them develop a personal spending plan, apply Biblical principles of stewardship, build a plan to get out of debt, and achieve spiritual and financial freedom.

Service Projects

Giving Tree
Help us make the holidays special for others this year. We are looking for families or individiuals in need of gifts. If you know of someone, please submit names and a phone number to Heather ASAP. (heatherh@gapfamilycenter.org) Presents need to be wrapped with the number assigned to them somewhere on the package by Dec. 18th.
